Dear Friends,

With winter on its way, here is a good tip from “First” magazine on how to “Soothe a frightened pooch”.

“If thunderstorms cause your furry friends to shake, whimper and pace the floor, try rubbing your thumb against the area slightly above the midpoint between his eyes for 2 minutes. Why it works: According to acupressure experts, when a dog is scared, his chi, or life energy, becomes scattered. But stimulating this poiint, called Yin Tang, refocuses chi so it can flow evenly through the body–giving your pooch an iinstant feeling of safety and security.

I know acupressure has worked for me before, so this tip seems to make sense. Let us know if it works for you.

Hugs,
Dorla, Bogie and Baby
