When you receive the bad news from your vet - that your dog is sick - sometimes you need someone to talk to. Often you vet has not given you many options, or maybe you just need help in understanding what the lab work means. We have a specially trained staff that may be able to make some suggestions on diet, alternative treatments or how to find a specialist. We obviously cannot give you specific advice for treatment of your dog, but over the last seven years that we have been dealing with this, we have accumulated information on thousands of canine cancer cases. Keep in mind we can’t give treatment advice as we are not licensed veterinarians. In most cases your dog must be examined prior to any treatment counseling.
If we can help in this way, please feel free to call us. We have staff on call to answer questions from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, PST. If you need an answer outside of those hours, we have a 24 hr answering service that will take your name and number so we can call you back.
